New Holiday Apron

 

I have numerous aprons that I use often. My one favorite was the one I made for my husband. 

I realized that I didn't have a holiday apron. So, I decided to get one finished before the next holiday season. Santa on one side and snowflakes on the other. 

Luckily, I had all the materials for this quick and fun project!

Grandma and Tot HoHoHo!!

 

A friend of mine is a first time grandma. I know she loves to cook and wears aprons while cooking. I do know that she doesn't have a Christmas themed apron. So I made her one and one for her granddaughter.  

Grandma's apron pocket gets Mrs. Claus....

while granddaughter's apron gets Santa. 

Evening Project

 Another Christmas gift completed! This just took a number of hours in the evening while watching tv.

I thought the fabric would be nice to use in an apron for the male chef in my family. 

Christmas Gift Projects!

 I put the quilting project aside to work on some aprons, tea towels, and pot holders for my kids and their partners.

First project was the reversible apron for my daughter.  I called it melted candles.

Then came the easier aprons for the rest of them.

Dog apron for daughter's fiance.

Hot chili peppers for son and blue apron for his girlfriend.

Next came the pot holders. I wanted to use up the fabrics.

And I still had a little fabric left; so, I made tea towels.

I really enjoyed making the tea towels, super easy pattern.

Aprons for my nieces.

I made these cute aprons using my Singer VS2 and the Eldredge Two Spools. The Two Spools was used for piecing and the Singer VS2 for top stitching. These three aprons were given as party favors to my nieces that attended my mom's 80th birthday.
