Nora's Pinwheel quilt
Finished the vintage pinwheel quilt top and quilting; I just need to finish the binding. This quilt will go to Suzanne's baby, Nora. The quilt went together very quickly, and I just love the vintage material, the prairie points, and the overall look of this quilt.
This is the back of the quilt. I'm thinking of using the extra back material for the binding by folding it over and stitching it down with one of the decorative stitches on my machine.
I found a very cute vintage material the has a girl washing clothes and a clothes line. I used that for the binding and my favorite decorative stitch that my machine makes to complete the quilt.

Idea for baby quilts
My sister's girls, Lauren and Suzanne, are having babies. I already made a baby quilt for Suzanne's baby, but I recently learned that Lauren is expecting. I'm now thinking that I will make a pinwheel quilt and make identical quilts tops to give to the expecting moms. Lauren and Suzanne will have the same quilt top, but the bottom of the quilts will be pink for Suzanne's baby and Lauren's will be something else. Erica's friend Anna, who just loves bunnies and pink, just loves the pink quilt with the bunnies that I made. So, I have a home for that quilt.
