Bouquet of Spring Flowers

With apple trees, lavender, and tulips all in bloom in my yard, I was inspired to capture my idea of "spring" in a quilt.

The front of the quilt has some stars, while the back is fabric full of flowers.

The stars were paper pieced using my Singer 201, quilting done on Davis NVF, and binding with my Necchi Supernova.  And yes, all machines are in treadles.

  1. Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, wonder where the birdies is? Remember Dad saying this every spring.

  2. Ogden Nash immediately comes to mind. He was one of Dad's favorite poets. Heehee yup, wonder how the birdies is?
